Scott Mason is an investment advisor in the Greater Philadelphia area and has a long history working in the personal finance industry. After graduating from Hobart College, he began his professional career as an Investment Executive for Hertzfeld & Stern. He moved up throughout his career, holding positions as high as VP of Investments with Gruntal & Company. In 1995, Scott founded Rubicon Wealth Management, a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). Rubicon’s goal is to provide holistic life and wealth advice to its clientele.

With an office in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, Rubicon Wealth Management is a fee-based boutique wealth management firm committed to helping clients improve their long-term financial success. Individuals and families work with Rubicon to receive completely objective advice and counseling. Rubicon designs customized programs to protect and grow client wealth while striving to deliver the highest level of personalized service. Simply put, the Rubicon mission is to help clients get to where they want to go, while making their journey as efficient as possible.

Scott has a lot of pride in where he has come from, often supporting and giving back to these communities. Scott is a Board Member on the Statesmen Athletic Association of Hobart College. He is also a member of the Hillel Board at Syracuse University. Scott stays active playing hockey, golfing, fishing and traveling with his family.

Diane Jankowski brings an extensive background to her role at Rubicon Wealth Management. She has 20+ years of experience in business management, operations, client service and accounting as well as 12 years in the financial services industry. 

Diane holds a Masters in Business Administration from St. Joseph's University. Diane manages the daily operations of the firm and implementation of client strategies.

Jeanie supports daily client tasks and manages vendor relationships.

Jim co-founded Malvern Capital Management (“MCM”) in 2018. Prior to forming MCM, he served as the Chief Investment Officer at OneSource Retirement Advisers from 2016 to 2018, a suburban Philadelphia-based investment adviser. Jim was responsible for the firm’s overall investment process and advising ultra-high net-worth and emerging-affluent clients on a range of retirement issues, including the construction of portfolios to support lifetime income. Jim’s experience includes designing portfolios for clients approaching retirement with the goal of providing steady income, safety and measured growth.

Michael is a passionate entrepreneur and a 30-year veteran of the financial services industry specializing in institutional and wealth management business development including successful business expansion, distribution and executive management skills. In addition to co-founding Malvern Capital Management in 2018, Michael was a former CEO of an SEC registered investment adviser where he played a significant role over twelve years improving, building and growing the small adviser business into a half-billion dollar enterprise prior to his departure.
